• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and analyze clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.
• Formulate and implement individual service plans that outline clear goals, appropriate interventions, and measurable progress milestones.
• Provide empathetic counseling and support to clients and their families, aiding them as they navigate the complexities of addiction and recovery.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized service plans while empowering them to connect with relevant community resources and support systems.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments, employing safety planning strategies to ensure client welfare.
• Work in tandem with local agencies and organizations to coordinate comprehensive care and advocate for clients’ wellbeing effectively.
• Engage in community outreach to raise awareness of our agency’s services, promoting access and understanding of mental health resources.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to remain abreast of best practices and industry developments.

As a Clinical Social Worker, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and co-occurring disorders. Your role will be pivotal in providing a lifeline to these clients, many of whom may have encountered significant barriers to care, including trauma, economic hardship, and social stigma. You will empower them by helping to rebuild their lives, fostering resilience, and supporting them in forming healthier coping mechanisms.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, providing a robust foundation in clinical practice.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) is mandatory.
• A solid understanding of trauma-informed care approaches and an awareness of social and economic justice issues affecting our client base.
• Exceptional communication skills, including cultural competence to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, allowing for creative and individualized approaches to client care.

• A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in a clinical social work environment or a similar social service setting is highly preferred.
• Experience in the addiction recovery field or mental health settings, demonstrating familiarity with evidenced-based methodologies.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress and treatment plans efficiently.
