Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations through telehealth platforms to identify clients' mental health needs, providing detailed treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions via video or phone consultations for various demographics, including individuals, couples, and families, while utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Work in close coordination with a robust multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to facilitate integrated care and ensure the holistic well-being of our clients.
  • Provide effective crisis intervention, offering immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies through telehealth channels.
  • Engage with community outreach efforts, promoting mental health education and awareness initiatives both online and offline to destigmatize mental health issues.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Vitality Counseling, you will serve a diverse range of clients, including young adults, families, and seniors, many of whom are navigating significant life changes or challenges exacerbated by social determinants such as economic instability and health disparities. Qualifications
  • A current license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Completion of a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the establishment of rapport and meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Cultural competence to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, respecting their identities and lived experiences.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in client management systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering therapy within a telehealth platform, with familiarity in using technologies that enhance client engagement and outcomes.
  • Background in community mental health services or outreach programs.
