Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the specific needs of children and families.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring goals are tailored to each child's unique developmental needs.
• Continuously monitor and assess outcomes as part of a collaborative team, contributing to the overall treatment and support strategy for children with disabilities.
• Provide direct support and education to families, equipping them with skills and resources to enhance their child’s development.
• Foster trusting relationships with families, children, and colleagues to create a supportive and constructive environment.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and coaching models to promote natural learning environments.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations to ensure the highest standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on infants and toddlers who may have disabilities or developmental delays. Through our Children's Services, you will support families of children in critical early intervention stages, helping them acquire essential skills during their formative years. This role is crucial as it directly contributes to the overall developmental outcomes for children, fostering growth in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must hold a valid LCSW license through the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license is essential for potential fieldwork.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage caseloads and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on building relationships with children and families.
• A commitment to employing Natural Learning Environment Practices in your approach.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of professional experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to various learning styles and family needs.

Compensation and Benefits
