Work Environment

This position provides an opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with a passionate team focused on supporting the youngest members of our society. Interactions with colleagues will largely take place through virtual meetings, ensuring that our remote work model fosters innovation and teamwork. You will be deeply involved in the implementation of individualized family service plans (IFSPs) and work closely with interdisciplinary teams consisting of therapists, educators, and specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children to determine their specific developmental needs.
• Develop and participate in the creation and execution of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's unique requirements.
• Monitor progress and outcomes, actively engaging as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide family support and education, ensuring parents and guardians are equipped with the information, skills, and strategies to enhance their child’s development.
• Utilize evidence-based practices within natural learning environments to facilitate skill development in children.
• Stay compliant with all federal and state regulations and standards concerning social work practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with children from birth to three years of age who are experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. This population necessitates a compassionate and individualized approach in addressing their foundational physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills. Your role is crucial in helping not only the child but guiding families through the complexities of early intervention resources.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work is required.
• Current and valid licensing from the Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is needed for potential travel to client homes.
• Demonstrated experience working with children in early intervention settings (minimum one year).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to various learning styles.
• Proficient communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with families and team members.

Compensation and Benefits
