Position Overview

Apollo Psychotherapy Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide essential support and intervention for families with young children experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to serve clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance early intervention services.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while ensuring a balance between your professional responsibilities and personal life. Despite the remote setting, our team prioritizes collaboration and communication, utilizing digital platforms to connect with colleagues and clients. You will work in close partnership with educational professionals and healthcare providers within our hospice center, ensuring the highest level of care for our young clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand each child’s unique needs and challenges.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), tailoring interventions to meet specific family and child requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of interventions, adjusting strategies based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Provide coaching and support to families, equipping them with tools and strategies to nurture their child’s development effectively.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and adhere to Natural Learning Environment Practices when delivering services.
• Build trusting relationships with children, families, and team members to create a positive and effective learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing social work and early intervention services.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation regarding services provided, outcomes, and family interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on infants and toddlers who may be experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. You will be working closely with families to support their children's development in critical areas including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during the crucial early years of life. Your interventions will directly affect their ability to thrive both today and in the future.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work (MSW/DSW).
• Current LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• At least one year of experience working directly with children in early intervention settings.
• Strong commitment to the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as language skills can greatly enhance communication with diverse families.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and show respect for diverse perspectives.

Preferred Experience

• Robust knowledge of developmental milestones and the factors affecting child development.
• Experience using coaching models to provide input in a family-centered service approach.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to social work practices and early childhood intervention.

Compensation and Benefits
