Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and establish personalized therapy plans tailored to each individual's circumstances.
• Deliver effective therapeutic interventions, utilizing various evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in case discussions and planning as needed.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation processes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and research to remain current on industry advancements and best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Guiding Growth Social Services, you will work primarily with individuals and families who seek mental health support. Our client population includes those facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will be vital in helping them navigate their struggles and achieve enhanced emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for those with a background in clinical settings.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards guiding mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or treatment of substance misuse issues is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems and technology used for telehealth services will strengthen your application.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, based on availability and relevant experience.
