We’re seeking a ROCKSTAR Deposit Operations Specialist, who will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operational processes related to deposits at the bank. Ensuring efficient and accurate document processing, maintenance of customer information, and provide high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers. This role also involves supporting the operations team in achieving departmental goals and assisting with compliance-related tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Efficiently identify, scan, and index deposit documents into the FCM system, ensuring that each document is accurately linked to the correct customer and account.
  • Email Document Processing: Manage and index documents received via the Deposit Operations email. Forward specific documents (e.g., debit card disputes, cash management forms, operational documents) to the appropriate personnel.
  • Customer Maintenance Review: Regularly review deposit and customer maintenance forms in BNControl to ensure that account updates are completed correctly and all necessary information is provided.
  • New Customer Verification: Review the daily New Customer Report to ensure proper documentation is included for customer due diligence (e.g., identification, address, email, citizenship).
  • Account Documentation Review: Review daily customer maintenance reports to confirm that appropriate documentation is collected and that correct changes are made in HORIZON.
  • Safe Deposit Box Accounts: Manage the review process for new safe deposit box accounts and related maintenance changes.
  • Exception Audits: Maintain accurate audits for any discrepancies or missing documentation, ensuring that all records are up to date and compliant with internal policies.
  • Cross-Department Assistance: Collaborate with other team members in the Deposit Operations department to ensure smooth operations and address any operational challenges.
  • Audit Report Preparation: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly audit reports for committee meetings, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Compliance Training: Stay up to date with required BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) Compliance training to ensure adherence to industry regulations and bank policies.

Education and Experience:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in banking or a related field preferred. Alternatively, equivalent experience and education will be considered.

Knowledge: Familiarity with banking operations, document management systems, and regulatory compliance requirements is a plus.
