Position Overview

Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Work Environment

As part of our Detox Center team, you will engage in a collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation. This role allows you the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth and development of young children and their families while being part of a dedicated team committed to high-quality behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the specific needs and strengths of young children within the early intervention framework.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), collaborating with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to best support families.
  • Provide family support, sharing evidence-based parenting strategies aimed at enhancing each child's developmental trajectory.
  • Utilize the coaching model and capitalize on natural learning environments to demonstrate effective teaching strategies to families.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding social work practices and early intervention services.
  • Develop strong rapport with children and their families, fostering a trusting and encouraging atmosphere for learning and growth.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in social work and early intervention methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. As an LCSW at Valley Behavioral Health, you will work closely with families to help their children build essential skills across various domains, including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. Your insight, guidance, and expertise will significantly influence the development of these young individuals, ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve their potential.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida through the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver’s license is required to facilitate any required field visits.
  • A deep understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases effectively.
  • Strong commitment to serving diverse populations, with bilingual skills encouraged.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings is preferred, enhancing your ability to assess and implement effective support models.
  • Experience with specific tools and methodologies relevant to the early intervention process would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

Valley Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to USD 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
