Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive, and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique mental health needs.
  • Deliver individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs identified through assessments, ensuring a supportive and therapeutic environment.
  • Maintain accurate billing, documentation, and individualized treatment plans in accordance with established time frames to ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Develop and implement crisis and relapse prevention plans, safety plans, and wellness plans that promote stable functioning and resilience in our patients.
  • Create and execute discharge plans that support the smooth transition of patients out of intensive care settings, ensuring their ongoing mental health needs are met.
  • Comply with all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and NEHS policies and procedures to uphold the standard and integrity of care.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, fostering a constructive dialogue that enhances treatment effectiveness.
  • Stay current with licensure and mandatory training requirements to maintain professional competence and provide the best care possible.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with a diverse range of clients seeking mental health support, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other psychological challenges. Our center deeply values diversity and inclusion, and your role will involve adapting therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural contexts of our clients, ensuring that every individual feels understood and respected.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field is required, leading to licensure as a mental health professional.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Florida is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing therapy in a community health setting, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic interventions to enhance patient engagement and accessibility.
