Job description

VetsEZ is seeking a detail-oriented, execution-focused Capture Manager for a 100% remote position to assist in driving VetsEZ's strategic expansion into other federal healthcare agencies, including HHS, NIH, CMS, CDC, and FDA. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on capture experience and a demonstrated ability to manage and advance qualified opportunities throughout the federal acquisition lifecycle. This role will primarily focus on executing capture strategies for identified opportunities, ensuring structured pursuit management. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with senior growth leaders, solution architects, and proposal teams to drive successful capture efforts across digital transformation, data analytics, interoperability, and cloud modernization initiatives.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
  • Support and manage full lifecycle capture activities for assigned opportunities.
  • Execute capture plans for pre-qualified pursuits, ensuring alignment with win strategy and customer priorities.
  • Conduct customer research, opportunity analysis, and competitor assessments to strengthen positioning.
  • Coordinate internal gate reviews and ensure capture artifacts are complete and actionable.
  • Collaborate with solution, pricing, and proposal teams to shape compliant and compelling responses.
  • Support teaming strategy, partner coordination, and subcontractor engagement.
  • Assist with pricing inputs, win themes, and value proposition development.
  • Maintain disciplined documentation and reporting across the capture lifecycle.
  • Contribute to various projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
  • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of direct, hands-on capture management or federal capture support experience
  • Experience managing federal accounts or driving business development within HHS, NIH, CMS, CDC, FDA, or similar healthcare-focused agencies.
  • Working knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle, IDIQs, GWACs, and task order competitions.
  • Experience participating in capture gate reviews and color team processes.
  • Familiarity with federal health IT domains such as application modernization, cloud migration, data analytics, or interoperability.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM), GovWin, SAM.gov, and Microsoft Office tools.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Shipley or APMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
