The Associate Account Director leads major accounts or a group of mid-size clients. This role blends strategy, financial management and team leadership. The AAD builds strong client partnerships, drives growth and supports teams in delivering clear, effective work.
What You'll Do Here
  • Set direction for client portfolios to meet business goals
  • Build and maintain senior-level client relationships
  • Manage account budgets, forecasts and overall performance
  • Lead and mentor account teams to grow skills and confidence
  • Work with Strategy, Creative and Media leads to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Find new growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Act as the senior point of contact for client issues and resolve them quickly
  • Support new business efforts through proposals and pitches

We Need a Person With
  • Experienced in leading complex accounts and advising senior clients
  • Strong leader who motivates and develops teams
  • Analytical thinker who turns ideas into clear actions
  • Communicates clearly and handles problems calmly
  • Pays close attention to detail and time management
  • Financially aware and comfortable managing account budgets
  • Confident in client and executive discussions

Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
  • 6-9 years of agency or client leadership experience
  • 1-2 years managing teams directly
  • Experience across retail, digital, media and traditional channels
  • Familiar with Asana, HubSpot and Google Workspace preferred

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
