  • Own the purchasing budget and carry P amp;L accountability for direct, indirect, and freight spend.
  • Monitor commodity markets and pricing exposure, and shape pricing strategy accordingly.
  • Direct sourcing readiness for new product launches and program milestones.
  • Own supply risk mitigation planning and lead resolution of major supply disruptions.
  • Partner across functions to meet operational and customer commitments.
  • Own purchasing policy, controls, reporting, and ERP data integrity across the function.

  • Thermoforming
QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a comparable field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement within manufacturing, including direct people-leadership experience.
  • Proven success negotiating and managing high-value supplier agreements.
  • Experience owning a departmental budget with P amp;L accountability for material spend.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving ability, with the communication skills to present to senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Able to set priorities across a portfolio of commodities and programs in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred
  • Purchasing leadership experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience sourcing indirect categories and negotiating freight or logistics contracts.
  • Exposure to fibers, nonwovens, foams, aluminum foil, film, or molded parts.
  • Familiarity with thermoforming
  • Hands-on use of ERP/MRP platforms.
  • CPSM, CPSD, APICS, or a comparable professional credential.
