Job description

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Purchasing / Strategic Sourcing & Procurement to lead our global sourcing initiatives and elevate our procurement function into a key driver of value creation and business growth.This leader will oversee sourcing strategies for critical materials including fragrances, flavors, essential oils, and chemicals. Experience in the Flavor & Fragrance industry is highly desired, as this role requires deep understanding of sourcing within quality-sensitive, regulated environments.
Location: South Bend, IN (Preferred) | Hybrid or Remote Considered
Target Salary: $150,000-$180,000 Base + Bonus (Flexible for Top Talent)
Reports to: President
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of sourcing and procurement experience (global preferred)
  • Flavor & Fragrance industry experience highly desired (or similar regulated/raw material-intensive industries)
  • Proven leadership and team development experience
  • Strong financial acumen (cost drivers, ROI, budgeting)
  • Advanced negotiation and contract management skills
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution
  • Experience working cross-functionally (R&D, operations, quality, legal)
  • Deep knowledge of sourcing in regulated or product-sensitive industries
