Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' unique mental health needs, employing evidence-based practices to inform your evaluations.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals, adjusting strategies as necessary based on progress and feedback.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities to engage with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on holistic wellness and emotional support.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress through scheduled check-ins and detailed documentation to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, including other therapists and support staff, to provide an integrated approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on mothers and families, helping them navigate the complexities of postpartum challenges, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. With a deep understanding of the physical and emotional changes that occur during this time, you will provide compassionate care that empowers clients to embrace their new roles while addressing any mental health concerns.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active license in the state of Washington as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Proven ability to work independently while also embracing collaboration in a remote environment.
  • Thorough understanding of evidence-based treatment methods and the ability to implement them effectively.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications or training in maternal mental health, trauma-informed care, or specific therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be highly regarded. Experience in teletherapy is also a plus, as it allows for seamless engagement with clients in a virtual landscape.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, based on experience and qualifications.
