Work Environment

This full-time position is set within a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of your patients and to develop individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that are client-centered and solution-oriented, ensuring that they are tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and case records, ensuring compliance with prevailing regulations and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychologists, nurses, and other social workers to provide well-rounded care for your patients.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously improve the quality of care provided at our clinic.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, fostering an environment of empowerment and resilience.
• Stay informed about current trends and research in mental health to enhance therapeutic practices and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a wide range of clients, including individuals facing acute and chronic mental health challenges. This includes those dealing with anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, substance use issues, and adjustment disorders, particularly within the hospice environment where emotional support is crucial. You will work with patients from various backgrounds, making cultural competence an essential asset in providing effective care.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid LCSW license for the state of Kansas is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy or counseling is expected.
• Strong proficiency in solution-based therapeutic methodologies and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience
