Description

The Media Trader is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of digital media campaigns across DOOH, Display, Mobile, and Paid Social. This role focuses on campaign setup, optimization, pacing, and performance monitoring within our ad tech platforms to ensure campaigns are launched correctly and perform as intended. Key tasks include creative QA and testing, tag implementation, troubleshooting, pacing and budget monitoring, reporting support, billing tasks, post-campaign wrap reporting, and product UAT.

The Media Trader will work cross-functionally with internal teams and is expected to provide strong operational partnership and service, as well as technical campaign guidance as needed. This position reports to the Manager, Media Trading and collaborates closely with Media Trafficking, Media Strategy/Planning, Digital Account Management, and Media Product to ensure seamless execution across channels. The role requires flexibility to support evolving business needs across platforms.



Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize digital media campaigns across DOOH, Display, Mobile, and Paid Social
  • Flex across channels based on business needs, supporting Paid Social while also executing Display, DOOH, and other programmatic campaigns
  • Ensure campaigns are set up and launched on time
  • Conduct pre-launch campaign QA including testing creative functionality and technical specifications and validating third-party trackers to ensure accurate platform implementation
  • Liaise with external media platform representatives as needed
  • Provide technical QA support on ad serving as needed, and liaise with Platform Support and Engineering teams as needed
  • Assist with documenting, updating and maintaining ad specs, trading processes, and workflow procedures
  • Provide screenshots and/or preview links when campaigns go live
  • Provide reporting across various metrics and analyze data for actionable insights
  • Deliver post-campaign wrap reporting
  • Partner with Product and Team leaders on new feature testing and feedback
  • Proactively identify process improvements to enhance internal workflow and cross-collaboration


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Math, or related discipline
  • 1-3 years of hands-on digital media trafficking and trading experience, with exposure to Paid Social required
  • Familiarity with various paid social platforms, creative formats, and placements
  • Experience with social ad management platforms (e.g., Mediaocean Scope/4C, Smartly, Skai, etc.) is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with digital media ad servers preferred
    • Digital Out of Home ad serving experience is a plus
  • Experience with demand-side platforms (DSPs) preferred
    • Experience with The Trade Desk (TTD) is a plus
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, etc.)
