Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of each client.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based strategies and therapeutic modalities.
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions, utilizing both brief models and multi-session frameworks suited to client needs.
  • Monitor client progress, adapting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records to support treatment efficacy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. By offering your expertise, you will contribute directly to enhancing their overall quality of life and well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work is required.
  • Two or more years of relevant clinical experience as a mental health counselor or therapist.
  • A valid license (LCSW, LMHC, LCSW-R, LMFT, PsyD) issued by a State Board, allowing for independent practice.
  • Strong digital literacy and reliable Internet connection to facilitate virtual sessions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client cases effectively.
  • Deep understanding of ethical practices and legal aspects related to mental health care.
  • Cultural competence, appreciating the factors of diversity, equity, and inclusion within therapeutic settings.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a remote counseling role or telehealth services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models is a plus.
