What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

In the context of teen landscaping, high earnings like $10,000 a month are uncommon without significant experience or specialization. Generally, jobs that can reach such income levels without a degree include entrepreneurship in landscaping or related fields, high-level sales roles, or skilled trades with advanced certifications, but these are typically not accessible to teens. As a teen landscaping worker, you'll assist with common yard maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming bushes, raking leaves, watering plants, and clearing debris. You may also help with planting flowers or shrubs, maintaining garden beds, and using basic landscaping tools under supervision. Most work is performed outdoors and may require physical activity in various weather conditions. You'll often be working as part of a small team, which helps build communication and collaboration skills. Gaining this hands-on experience is a great way to learn about landscaping and develop work habits valued in future employment.

Does construction hire 16 year olds?

Construction jobs, including entry-level roles like laborer or apprentice, often hire 16-year-olds, but age requirements vary by state and specific job site regulations. Workers under 18 may need work permits and must follow safety guidelines, especially when operating tools or heavy equipment. It's important to check local labor laws and employer policies for age restrictions and restrictions on certain tasks.

Can I work landscaping at 16?

Teen landscaping jobs are often available to individuals who are 16 years old, as many states allow minors to work in outdoor, non-hazardous jobs with certain restrictions. Employers may require a work permit or parental consent, and tasks typically include lawn care, planting, and maintenance. It's important to check local labor laws and employer policies for specific age requirements and restrictions.

Tasks may include mowing lawns, trimming bushes, pulling weeds, planting flowers, and general yard maintenance. These jobs help teens gain work experience, build responsibility, and earn money while working outdoors. Many positions are seasonal and ideal for summer or after-school work.
