RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Remote Developmental Editor. The ideal candidate will bring editorial expertise and a passion for improving the clarity, accuracy, and educational impact of healthcare content. This role combines developmental and line editing of educational healthcare content in a dynamic, technology-forward content production environment.
Responsibilities:
* Edit healthcare-related educational content for accuracy, clarity, structure, and consistency
* Perform line editing and copyediting for grammar, usage, and adherence to internal style guides and industry standards (e.g., AMA Manual of Style)
* Collaborate closely with content developers, instructional designers, clinical editors, project managers, and image coordinators to ensure content meets quality, style, and educational objectives
* Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail
* Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate via Microsoft Teams and other internal communication tools
* Adapt to evolving workflows and technologies, contributing to process improvements and new content development approaches
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED
* 2+ years of experience editing professional clinical content (not consumer facing)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
