The Opportunity

Your Impact Starts Here - Reporting to the Prairies & North Occupational Hygiene and Safety Group Manager, you will lead projects that protect people and improve workplaces across the region. You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, support clients through complex regulatory requirements, and deliver sciencebased, practical solutions that make a real impact. This role includes local and regional travel, occasional work in remote areas, and varied indoor/outdoor environments.


Your Impact

  • Manage project budgets, scope, schedules, resourcing, and, ensuring highquality delivery in coordination with technical specialists, coordinators, and technicians.
  • Manage client relationships, engage on new opportunities, develop proposals and scopes of work.
  • Apply project management tools, PMIaligned methods, and best practices to plan, track, and execute projects that meet stakeholder expectations and business needs.
  • Lead hazardous building materials assessments, including asbestos, lead, PCBs, mercury components, ozonedepleting substances, and mold, and collect samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Develop and review hazardous materials reports, safe work procedures, management plans, abatement specifications, and exposure control plans.
  • Conduct hazardous materials condition assessments, abatement/remediation inspections, and air monitoring, producing clear daily and completion reports.
  • Support indoor air quality and occupational hygiene projects under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist.
  • Assist clients with asset assessments, data management, and compliance related to regulated materials.
  • Work safely in varied field conditions, including remote environments and physically demanding settings, with occasional light to moderate lifting.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field, with 5-8 years' experience in occupational hygiene, hazardous materials, environmental assessments, monitoring, and/or project management.
  • Professional designations such as CRSP, CIH, ROHT (or progression toward them) are preferred; hazardous materials training (AHERA, Asbestos Worker, Lead/Mold courses) is an asset.
  • Strong experience with project financial tracking, change management, and risk identification/mitigation aligned with the PMBOK.
  • Skilled in project planning and analysis using MS Excel or similar tools, with proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, able to work independently or collaboratively, and calm under pressure.
  • Class 5 driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and a good driving record (abstract required).
  • Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a commitment to technical excellence.

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $88,200 - $118,500
MB & ON: $80,500 - $112,400
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $79,700 - $107,300
