Citrix Administrator

Our client is looking for a Citrix Administrator to support and maintain a large-scale enterprise virtualization environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping critical systems running smoothly, troubleshooting user and platform issues, and ensuring a stable and secure remote access experience across the organization.

Youโ€™ll work closely with infrastructure and support teams to manage day-to-day Citrix operations, perform upgrades and maintenance activities, and support ongoing platform improvements. This position offers a mix of hands-on administration, operational support, and exposure to evolving virtualization technologies including Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and Citrix ADC (NetScaler) environments, including troubleshooting user connectivity and performance issues
  • Perform routine platform maintenance including patching, upgrades, monitoring, and system health checks across Azure and VMware-hosted environments
  • Support provisioning, configuration changes, and operational tasks using PowerShell and automation tools where applicable
  • Assist with user access management, Active Directory integrations, and implementation of security and system hardening standards
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Security teams to maintain platform stability, reliability, and operational best practices

What Gets You the Job:

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Citrix administration experience supporting enterprise virtual desktop environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Azure and/or VMware virtualization platforms
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for administrative and operational support tasks
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, access controls, and general infrastructure support
  • Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-based virtualization environments is a plus
