Location: Highland, CA (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician with experience supporting endpoint patching and device management in a large enterprise environment. This individual will provide hands-on technical support for end users while assisting with the deployment of operating system updates, security patches, and software installations across approximately 3,000 devices. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically proficient, and comfortable troubleshooting Windows devices, software issues, and patch deployment failures. This role combines traditional desktop support responsibilities with endpoint management and patching activities to help maintain a secure and reliable IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite desktop support for Windows laptops, desktops, kiosks, and related hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with deploying operating system updates, security patches, and application updates.
  • Monitor endpoint health and help identify systems requiring remediation or updates.
  • Support users during patching activities and resolve post-deployment issues.
  • Assist with software installations, upgrades, and endpoint configuration changes.
  • Work with IT teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize business disruption.
  • Document support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary and follow established support procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and support lifecycle management of end-user devices.
  • Contribute to improving endpoint management and patching processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Desktop Support, Help Desk, or Endpoint Support experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Familiarity with endpoint patching, software deployment, or device management tools.
  • Experience supporting Active Directory and Group Policy environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, or similar endpoint management platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Familiarity with change management and maintenance processes.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation or security-focused patching initiatives.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Endpoint Administrator are a plus.
