Job Description

Position Summary

Our Design Consultants work directly with clients in their homes or in showrooms through pre-scheduled appointments. This is a consultative sales + interior design role where you will create custom storage solutions and deliver a premium customer experience from concept to installation.

Key Responsibilities 

As a California Closets Design Consultant, you will:

  • Offer a luxury experience through product expertise and elevated service
  • Provide in-home design consultations and space planning
  • Design custom solutions using proprietary CAD software
  • Work with interior designers, decorators, and builders
  • Manage multiple client projects with strong attention to detail
  • Travel daily to appointments in Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties
Qualifications

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in sales, interior design, home improvement, home organization professional, or related field
  • Strong consultative sales and closing skills
  • Ability to build rapport and develop relationships quickly
  • Highly organized with excellent time management
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
