What You'll Do

The Planning & Design Coordinator is a resource for the Planning & Design team, Regional Directors, and Authorized Representative Firms. Through your technical expertise and utilization of room design software tools, you support the planning and design process for operating rooms, imaging rooms, and other specialty procedure rooms. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and complete design packages for operating rooms, imaging rooms, and specialty procedure rooms
  • Collaborate with Planning & Design team members on project reviews, design solutions, third-party design needs, and emerging technologies
  • Work with internal product management teams to support product development and technical initiatives
  • Participate in project meetings to provide guidance and support throughout the design process
  • Assist in the review of project scope, priorities, and workload distribution across the Planning & Design team
  • Identify opportunities to improve design procedures, tools and internal processes
  • Communicate project opportunities, challenges, and recommendations to Planning & Design and Product Management teams
  • Develop an understanding of complex healthcare room design, clinical workflows and medical technologies
  • Participate in training and professional development activities to expand technical and product knowledge

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word) and CRM systems
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
