As a Data Engineer/Analyst, you will work closely with Medisolv clients to extract, transform and load clinical, financial and administrative healthcare data and health plan data to feed our suite of reporting and analytics products. You will assist the data team with loading and troubleshooting data issues from EHR vendor products (including but not limited to: Epic, Meditech, Cerner and EClinicalWorks). You will also assist the data team in supporting CMS quality measures (HEDIS/Stars) and fuel our downstream AI workflows.
Why Join Medisolv?
• Impactful Mission: Help improve patient care nationwide by developing reliable data pipelines and meaningful analytics that drive better outcomes.
• Innovative Environment: Work with modern Azure-based technologies and contribute to data-driven and AI-enhanced initiatives.
• Growth Opportunity: Be part of a collaborative, high-performing team shaping the future of healthcare data and reporting.

In your first 30 days you will:
• Integrate with the data management team and become familiar with workflows and tools in our Azure and AWS environments (Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Glue, Lambda, SQL Server).
• Review existing data pipelines, data models, and transformation script to understand current processes and support troubleshooting of data related issues.

• Troubleshoot data pipelines to support internal operations and client deliverables.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and enhance data quality and reporting outputs.
In your first 6 months, you will:
• Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support business and client decisions.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in data integrity and consistency.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights aligned with business goals.
In your first 12 months, you will:
• Lead enhancements to data architecture, reporting capabilities, and data processes.
• Support advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive insights and AI-driven solutions.
• Document processes and establish best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency as the organization grows.
What You Bring
• 4-7+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a hybrid role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud compute platforms using tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Glue, Azure Functions and Lambda.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Healthcare data experience, including familiarity with clinical or regulatory data, is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, Delta Lakes, Spark, Python and other related technologies.
• Familiarity with healthcare data systems, EHRs, or regulatory reporting programs.
• Experience with advanced analytics, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Exposure to AI/ML or predictive analytics initiatives.
• Experience with additional tools such as Power BI, or other visualization platforms.
