Job description

  • The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for transforming NASBA data into clear, actionable insights that improve decision-making, operational performance, and measurable business outcomes.
  • This role partners closely with business unit leaders, Information Technology, and external partners to understand business questions, define analytical requirements, and deliver accurate, timely, and useful reporting and analytics products.
  • Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical solutions aligned with NASBA's enterprise data and AI strategy.
  • Accountable for the quality, adoption, and business value of assigned analytics and reporting, while supporting strong data governance, security, and responsible use of data.
  • Supports the effective use of NASBA’s enterprise data platform, including Snowflake and Power BI, by promoting data consistency, quality, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborates with CGI and other vendors as needed under the strategic guidance of the Chief Information Officer.
Requirements
  • Five to eight years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data management, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and supporting enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions is required.
  • Experience with Power BI and enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in vendor-supported or outsourced environments is preferred.
  • Strong data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting experience.
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, visualization design, and report performance optimization.
  • Working knowledge of Snowflake or a comparable enterprise cloud data platform.
  • Experience with SQL, data validation, data profiling, and analysis of large or complex datasets.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, integration concepts, data quality practices, and semantic data models.
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical analytical solutions and measurable outcomes.
