Job description

We're hiring a Remote Data Scientist for a fast-growing, well-funded fintech company. This is a hands-on, non-client-facing seat on a small data team - you'll apply Python, SQL, and applied statistics/ML to real product and risk questions, working closely with engineers and analysts, and presenting those findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Solid Python and SQL experience
  • Foundational statistics (hypothesis testing, regression analysis, experimental design)
  • Applied ML exposure (e.g. scikit-learn)

Pluses:

  • Experience working in a start-up or on a fast paced team
  • Statistical Risk modelling experience

Location: Remote - this client is based in NYC and would love to find a candidate in the NY area who can come in now and then, but they're open to anyone located in the US.  

Salary: 150K- 200K DOE!
