We're seeking an Associate Dean of Curriculum & Instruction who is inspired by that mission and ready to lead meaningful, standards-driven academic work that directly impacts student success and the future of healthcare education.
Reporting to the Provost, this role is a key leader within our Center of Excellence for Teaching. You'll collaborate closely with academic leadership, faculty, and instructional support teams to ensure our curriculum is innovative, compliant, data-informed, and designed with students at the center.

What You'll Do (Your Impact)
As Associate Dean of Curriculum & Instruction, you will:
  • Advance Academic Quality & Compliance
    Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of curriculum across programs, ensuring alignment with institutional and programmatic accreditation standards, licensure requirements, state regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strengthen Teaching & Learning
    Promote effective pedagogy and andragogy that enhances student engagement, supports diverse learners, and reflects best practices in higher education.
  • Lead Curriculum Strategy & Execution
    Guide curriculum review, mapping, and documentation processes; analyze curriculum data; identify gaps; and provide recommendations aligned with professional standards and institutional goals.
  • Partner Across Academic Affairs
    Collaborate with Deans, Program Chairs, faculty, Instructional Design, and Academic Affairs leadership to support curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and instructional excellence.
  • Support Faculty Growth & Development
    Contribute to faculty training, orientation, mentoring, and coaching initiatives; support instructional observations and goal setting; and help advance faculty academies and continuing education efforts.
  • Drive Innovation with Accountability
    Assist in identifying and implementing new curriculum initiatives while monitoring compliance risks, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and supporting corrective action planning when needed.

Requirements
Qualifications
Required
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related health discipline from a regionally accredited institution
  • Minimum of two years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, faculty development, or academic support in higher education
  • Experience supporting institutional and/or programmatic accreditation processes
  • Experience analyzing academic or curriculum data to inform instructional improvement
  • Experience using learning management systems (Canvas preferred)

Preferred
  • Terminal degree (PhD or professional doctorate)
  • Teaching experience at the master's or doctoral level, including online or hybrid delivery
  • Experience designing, delivering, and evaluating faculty development initiatives
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Asana preferred)
