As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of client needs and developing tailored treatment plans that address therapeutic goals and challenges.
• Facilitating timely and accurate documentation according to regulatory standards, ensuring that all clinical records are meticulously maintained.
• Employing evidence-based screening tools as specified by the clinical team to assess clients' emotional states and needs effectively.

• Participating actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance and the delivery of quality services.

• Reporting to the Clinic Director and being open to additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

The primary focus of this role involves working with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges, those recovering from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your expertise will be critical in establishing therapeutic rapport, guiding clients through their recovery journeys, and celebrating their milestones.

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor role will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• An independent LMHC license issued by the state of Florida.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain clinical records and generate comprehensive reports effectively.
