A Remote CRM Analytics job involves analyzing customer relationship management (CRM) data to help businesses understand customer behavior, improve sales strategies, and enhance customer experiences, all while working from a remote location. Professionals in this role use data analytics tools and CRM platforms, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, to generate reports, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to marketing, sales, and customer service teams. They collaborate with stakeholders virtually, making use of communication and project management tools to ensure effective workflow. The remote aspect allows flexibility in work location, often requiring strong self-motivation and digital communication skills.

To thrive as a Remote CRM Analytics professional, you need strong analytical skills, experience in data interpretation, and a background in marketing or business, often supported by a relevant degree. Proficiency with CRM platforms (like Salesforce), data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI), and SQL is typically essential, and certifications in these systems can be advantageous. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are important soft skills for translating data insights into actionable business strategies. These skills are crucial for driving customer engagement and business growth through data-driven decision-making in a remote environment.

Remote collaboration tools and regular check-ins help ensure alignment and foster a collaborative work environment despite the physical distance.

Job description

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest-growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 550 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?
As the Director of CRM Marketing at PrizePicks, you will own and lead the end-to-end CRM function, responsible for driving activation, engagement, and retention through targeted, data-driven messaging. This role will define the strategy, execution, and evolution of CRM across key owned channels, ensuring every player interaction is timely, relevant, and impactful.
You will lead a high-performing CRM team and partner cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Creative, Social, and Revenue Operations to deliver personalized experiences that influence player behavior and maximize lifetime value. This role is less about traditional lifecycle stage management and more focused on real-time, moment-based marketing, segmentation, and behavioral impact.
What you'll do:
Segmentation, Personalization & Targeting
  • Lead the development of advanced segmentation frameworks and targeting logic to deliver highly relevant messaging.
  • Own personalization strategy across channels, leveraging behavioral, transactional, and predictive data.
  • Continuously refine audience strategies to improve engagement, conversion, and retention outcomes.
  • Drive forward real-time messaging capabilities and effectiveness

Campaign Strategy & Channel Optimization
  • Oversee planning and execution of CRM campaigns across all owned channels (email, push, SMS, in-app).
  • Drive channel optimization strategies, ensuring the right message reaches the right player at the right time.
  • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure messaging aligns with voice, tone, and brand standards.

Testing & Experimentation
  • Own the CRM testing roadmap, including A/B and multivariate testing strategies.
  • Establish a culture of experimentation to continuously improve campaign performance and player experience.
  • Leverage insights from testing to inform broader marketing and product strategies.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Product and REI teams to support retention and reactivation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Analytics to define success metrics, measure lift, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Align with broader Marketing (Creative, Social, Product Marketing) to ensure cohesive player communication.

Performance & Impact Measurement
  • Define and track KPIs tied to engagement, participation, retention, and incremental lift.
  • Evaluate CRM effectiveness based on its ability to drive meaningful behavioral change.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing CRM team.
  • Establish clear priorities, workflows, and accountability across the function.
  • Foster a data-driven, test-and-learn culture within the team.

What Success Looks Like
  • CRM drives measurable increases in player participation and engagement.
  • Messaging feels personalized, timely, and aligned with player behavior.
  • Strong testing culture leading to continuous performance improvements.
  • Clear demonstration of incremental lift driven by CRM initiatives.
  • Seamless collaboration across Product, Marketing, and Analytics.
What you have:
  • 8-12+ years of experience in CRM, retention, or performance marketing, within gaming, DFS, or sports betting is a plus.
  • Proven experience leading CRM strategy and teams at scale.
  • Deep expertise in segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies.
  • Strong experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Braze highly preferred).
  • Experience in managing a broader CRM tech stack.
  • Demonstrated ability to build testing roadmaps and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to drive marketing performance.
What makes you stand out:
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Marketing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with DFS or sports gaming industry strongly preferred.

Where you'll live:
  • While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. #LI-Remote
