Our practice focuses on evidence-based treatments for conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This position is fully remote but is integrated within an outpatient office setting where collaboration with colleagues and access to resources are easily attainable. • Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify each patient’s unique trauma history and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans, emphasizing trauma recovery and the enhancement of coping mechanisms.
• Provide therapeutic interventions based on the latest research, utilizing methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients as they process their trauma and work toward healing and personal growth.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for our patients.
• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate support and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources to enhance their support systems.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to an environment of shared learning and professional growth.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying updated on breakthroughs and best practices in trauma therapy.

The patients you will serve at Bright Minds come from diverse backgrounds and experience a range of complex traumas. Many struggle with PTSD, complex trauma responses, and other trauma-related mental health issues. Your contributions will be pivotal in helping them find avenues for healing, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care tailored to their unique experiences.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, for effective documentation and collaboration.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

While 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, we value varied experiences that enable you to bring fresh perspectives to our team. Expertise in delivering trauma-focused interventions is a significant asset.
