This role is conducted entirely through telehealth, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home or other remote settings. You will work a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which fosters work-life balance while ensuring availability for your clients. Our team utilizes advanced telehealth technology to facilitate engaging and effective therapy sessions.

• Conduct therapy sessions and mental health assessments primarily via telehealth platforms, ensuring a professional and welcoming virtual environment.
• Perform comprehensive intake evaluations to gather client histories, identify needs, and formulate diagnostic impressions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessment results, incorporating evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client’s circumstances.
• Provide crisis intervention support, helping clients navigate urgent mental health challenges with appropriate strategies and resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refer clients to additional services when needed, such as psychiatric evaluations or community resources.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and peer consultations to enhance therapeutic skills.

As a remote Mental Health Counselor at Logan Mental Health Clinic, you will work with a diverse adult population dealing with various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationship issues. Our approach prioritizes a client-centered methodology, ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.
• An active licensure in Washington State as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC is essential to provide therapeutic services legally and ethically.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and creating tailored treatment plans that facilitate meaningful therapeutic outcomes.
• Strong comfort level utilizing telehealth technologies and software to engage clients in an effective and secure manner.

• At least two years of direct experience in a clinical or counseling setting, with a strong background in teletherapy preferred.
• Familiarity with current mental health technologies, including electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy software.
• Experience in crisis intervention and managing complex patient needs can significantly enhance your contributions in this role.
