• Conduct thorough crisis assessments to identify immediate needs and formulate appropriate intervention strategies for clients experiencing mental health emergencies.

As a counselor with Inner Mind Sculpture, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing urgent mental health crises, including those affected by addiction and trauma. Your role will involve connecting empathetically and effectively with a diverse client demographic, ensuring that all individuals receive the culturally competent care they deserve. You will play a significant role in supporting clients through challenging emotional landscapes, facilitating both immediate interventions and long-term recovery plans.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in New York State.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing crisis intervention services and mental health counseling.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
• Ability to conduct rapid assessments and develop personalized crisis intervention plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic alliances with clients in distress.

• Experience working with individuals in immediate mental health crises, especially in a telehealth environment.
