About this Role: 

We are looking for a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller and partnering closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives, this role will support financial planning, forecasting, operational analysis, and business decision support across the organization. 

This role will work cross-functionally with leaders throughout the business to analyze financial and operational performance, develop meaningful reporting and forecasting models, and provide recommendations that support growth, operational efficiency, and long-term planning. 

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, business-minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced SaaS environment. 

Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and challenge the business with forward thinking approaches to accelerate growth, enhance operational efficiency, and increase profitability including: 

  • ROI analysis
  • Investment prioritization
  • Scenario planning/modeling
  • Operational analysis 
  • Developing and refining meaningful management reporting
  • Preparing business recommendations based on financial analysis
  • Assist in development of regular financial forecasts that incorporate current business trends and strategies
  • Driving continuous improvement in report and analysis automation
  • Taking initiative and working independently to conduct special studies to analyze complex financial data
  • Completing internal process review, documenting internal processes and providing recommendations for improved productivity and/or cost savings. 
Skills Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or financial analysis roles
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. SaaS industry experience preferred. 
  • Must have a working knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, working capital analysis
  • Experience building financial models, forecasts, budgets, and KPI reporting
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills including financial modeling and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience improving reporting automation or finance processes
  • Experience with financial planning or BI tools such as NetSuite, Power BI, Tableau, or Adaptive Planning
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. MBA Preferred

  • Advance Excel skills (Including lookups, Pivot Table, Index-Match, etc.) 
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 based on experience and location.

Step 1: Assessment
Candidates begin with an online assessment focused on financial analysis, problem-solving, and business reasoning. This helps us better understand your analytical approach, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and work through financial and operational scenarios.

Step 2: Initial Screen
A 20-30 minute conversation with our Talent team to learn more about your background, experience and career goals. We will also share more about Patch My PC, our culture and how our values guide the way we work.

Step 3: Hiring Manager Interview
A conversation with the hiring manager focused on your experience with financial planning and analysis, forecasting, reporting, business partnership, and operational analysis. This discussion also provides an opportunity to learn more about the team, current priorities, and expectations for the role.

Step 4: Team Interview
A collaborative interview with members of the Finance team focused on financial modeling, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and business decision support. Candidates may be asked to discuss prior forecasting work, KPI analysis, reporting approaches, or how they would approach real-world business scenarios.

Step 5: Cross Functional and Leadership Conversations
The next stage includes conversations with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. In addition to discussing experience and communication style, we focus on collaboration, business partnership, adaptability, and how you contribute to a team environment grounded in humility, ownership, empathy, and delivering excellence.

Step 6: Final Conversation with Our CEO
As a final step candidates may meet with our CEO and Founder Justin Chalfant. This conversation focuses on our mission, culture, and values and gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the company vision and the impact our team is working to create.
