Job description

Job Title: Credentialing Specialist

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full Time, must be able to work across all US time zones as needed

Company Summary:

The Treetop is a National ABA Therapy company currently operating in 11 states and expanding. We strive to meet the growing needs of children with ASD by providing evidence-based therapy to children through our in-home and center-based services. Our goal is to help the children we work with function effectively in all areas of their lives.

Job Summary:

The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing the enrollment and credentialing process for newly hired Behavior Analysts and Behavior Technicians company wide or in assigned states based on volume. This team member will also be responsible for re-credentialing as needed and roster updating when required by payers. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with providers, internal departments and external agencies to gather and verify credentialing information.
  • Maintain and update all credentialing tracking systems and databases (e.g. CAQH, Lumary)
  • Complete enrollment and credentialing applications in accordance with payer guidelines and in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to familiarize with, numerous payers' enrollment and credentialing processes.
  • Timely submission of all applications and consistent follow up with all parties involved.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college or higher level education is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in provider enrollment and medical credentialing.
  • Preferred experience with Behavior Analyst enrollment and credentialing.

Skills:

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to details.
  • Strong verbal and written communication needed to build connections with providers and payers.
  • Able to juggle numerous new hires at various stages of the enrollment and credentialing  process. 

Working Conditions:

  • May require occasional extended hours to meet credentialing needs across multiple states and time zones.
  • May require occasional overtime to meet credentialing deadlines.
  • Primarily remote with minimal physical demands.
  • Must have access to wifi and phone as needed.
