Westside Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time remote position focuses on providing essential therapeutic services to clients in a detox center setting. This position is entirely remote, allowing the candidate to provide crucial services from the comfort of their own location. Our organization utilizes digital communication tools to ensure collaboration between staff and clients is seamless, allowing for effective assessment and intervention strategies. While working independently, the LCSW will be supported by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to client recovery.

• Plan, coordinate, manage, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to assist clients in overcoming dependencies and achieving their personal recovery goals.
• Conduct thorough interviews to assess clients' current conditions, strengths, limitations, and immediate needs through both virtual consultations and telehealth tools.
• Implement tailored and measurable objectives for each case, regularly reviewing progress and adapting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention during challenging situations, utilizing therapeutic techniques to stabilize clients and guide them toward appropriate next steps.
• Compile and maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with confidentiality regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage in case conferences, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and prepare clinical findings to present in court when necessary.
• Serve as a primary case manager for selected clients, ensuring continuity of care through effective referrals to community resources and support services.
• Advocate on behalf of clients within the legal system and during inter-agency coordination to facilitate access to comprehensive resources.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse population facing unique challenges related to substance abuse and mental health. Clients may be affected by issues such as neglect, domestic violence, mental health disorders, and parental substance abuse. The LCSW will provide essential counseling and therapy, supporting clients through their recovery journeys and helping them build resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in social work and counseling, specifically within mental health and addiction recovery settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds.
• A strong commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for social work practice.
• An ethical approach to client care, grounded in empathy and respect for individual needs.

• Experience working in a detox, addiction treatment center, or mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for tracking client data and documenting progress.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Motivational Interviewing (MI).
