Job Description
As an operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational excellence and achieving project objectives. You will leverage deep domain expertise, strong operational acumen, and knowledge of the business environment, drive performance, and ensure successful execution of client and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate with the C&E PM Team (as the lead) in regular communications/interface with the customer regarding project status and issues at an including periodic executive readouts.
  • Coordinate with the C&E Project management team in order to track status of C&E managed project work (as specified above).
  • Coordinate with the Telemetry team the ordering and deployment of Telemetry for each hut telemetry design and Implementation teams.
  • Coordinate installation of incremental GRE/CRE provided hut elements with the GRE Project Manager, such as Building Management System (BMS).
  • Ensure that maintenance contract or approach is in place for all hut components, including SES door/fence locks. Participate in ordering and deployment of SES portal system and ILA Hut as needed.
  • Ensure that each fiber run and hut is entered into the appropriate inventory system and/or NOC system, so that incident tickets can be populated with the appropriate run/hut information.
  • Perform incremental security administration (in SES system) as required for each hut turn-up.
  • Track deployment schedule according to the committed delivery date (in consideration of potential penalty payment and any other potential contractual jeopardies).
  • Coordinate formal "Test and Turn-Up" with the customer of each route and hut into production operational status. This includes coordination with teams for NOC monitoring, support handover to Service Management and Incident Management support teams, etc.
  • Coordinate with Product management team as needed with regard to this role. (For example, trigger the product team to start billing the contract (IRU and Build charges for each route and/or route segment), and O&M charge for each route and/or hut.)
  • Handle Email and Chat Correspondence
  • Maintain Product Security
  • Handle Regular/Escalated Email Correspondence
  • Handle Outbound/Inbound Regular/Escalated Transactions (Case & Call)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the job description
Preferred:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be able to comply with the work / break schedules that will be made by the Work Force group in order to meet service level
  • Be able to ensure high levels of productivity and quality
