This full-time position allows professionals to work from the comfort of their homes while providing critical mental health services to our clients. As a remote counselor, you will be responsible for delivering individualized therapeutic support, assessments, and treatment plans tailored to stable, low-acuity adults. We are particularly interested in candidates who hold a Master’s degree or higher and relevant licenses (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD).

The Remote Mental Health Counselor position offers a fully virtual work environment, enabling you to build your own schedule while working over 30 hours a week. This setting promotes a flexible work-life balance as you can conduct counseling sessions from home. Our user-friendly counseling platform facilitates seamless interactions with clients through video chat, ensuring that you have the tools necessary to provide high-quality care while minimizing administrative burdens.

• Provide compassionate and ethical mental health counseling services via video conferencing, utilizing techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current mental health status and develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Assist clients in building effective coping skills, problem-solving strategies, and enhanced communication abilities through tailored interventions.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with the latest counseling methods and mental health research.
• Document treatment outcomes and client progress efficiently, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to refer clients to appropriate resources when additional support is needed.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adults. This demographic typically includes individuals facing moderate stressors, life transitions, or those seeking support for mild anxiety and depression. By providing tailored counseling, you play a significant role in facilitating personal growth and resilience among your clients, ultimately contributing to their overall mental well-being.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A current, unrestricted license in Florida as an LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD, with no disciplinary actions.
• Ability to work independently without supervision, demonstrating excellent self-governance in your practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, active listening, and a genuine desire to support clients.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and a stable Wi-Fi connection to conduct remote sessions effectively.

While the required qualification is a Master’s level degree, experience in remote counseling, especially within community health settings, is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and a solid background in working with diverse populations will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The offered salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on hours worked and experience.
