• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to discern their unique care needs and formulate tailored treatment plans.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and social workers, to develop comprehensive and integrative care plans for older adult patients.
• Educate family members and caregivers on effective strategies to support the emotional well-being of elderly individuals, enhancing family dynamics and communication.
• Facilitate grief and loss counseling sessions for residents and their families, delivering compassionate support during difficult end-of-life transitions.
• Implement cognitive stimulation activities and mental health interventions aimed at promoting mental acuity and emotional resilience among elderly clients.

The primary focus of this role is geriatric mental health, specifically addressing the psychological and emotional needs of older adults. • A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from a regionally accredited institution.
• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
