Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, couples, and groups, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver comprehensive care and optimize client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and quality assurance.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay current with advancements in mental health and counseling techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Balanced Minds Counseling, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clinic serves individuals facing a variety of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance abuse. Our goal is to provide meaningful support to clients who may have limited access to mental health resources, ensuring they receive the care necessary for their mental health journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop therapeutic relationships with clients, providing a safe and supportive environment.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies for clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-focused therapy.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to create holistic care plans.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, depending on level of experience and client caseload.
