Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using standardized tools to identify needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual scenarios.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with the treatment team by participating in regular case reviews and contributing insights to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with best practices and emerging research in mental health and social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will primarily focus on patients in a detox setting, many of whom are experiencing significant mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, and depression. This role requires sensitivity and expertise in managing complex, co-occurring conditions, and emphasizes the importance of providing compassionate care and evidence-based support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Florida is mandatory.

Preferred Experience
