About Us:

Evolve Psychiatry is a fast-growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing exceptional psychiatric and therapy services to patients across multiple states. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment. We are seeking an experienced Remote Therapist Receptionist to join our administrative team and serve as the first point of contact for our therapy patients.

Position Overview:

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced professional who understands the fast-paced nature of a behavioral health practice and has previous experience scheduling therapy appointments, supporting therapists, and providing outstanding customer service to patients.

Qualifications:Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

3–5 years of experience scheduling therapists in a behavioral or mental health practice; OR

3–5 years of receptionist or administrative experience in a direct mental health setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm therapy appointments.
  • Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and compassion.
  • Respond promptly to patient questions and concerns.
  • Coordinate therapist schedules while maximizing appointment availability.
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Communicate effectively with therapists and administrative staff.
  • Process cancellations and maintain accurate scheduling records.
  • Document patient communications within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Assist with additional administrative duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills:
  • Minimum 35 years of relevant experience (required). Will not be considered without it
  • Previous experience in a mental health, psychiatry, psychology, counseling, or therapy practice.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus).
  • Reliable highspeed internet and a quiet, professional home office.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace.
