Remote Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Montana Telehealth Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to provide remote mental health counseling to clients across Montana. In this role, you will meet with clients through a secure telehealth platform, complete clinical assessments, create treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy for individuals working through anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and other mental health needs.
This position is a strong fit for an LCPC who enjoys meaningful clinical work, organized documentation, and the ability to support clients from a remote setting while still being part of a professional care team.
Role Details
Location: Montana
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Responsibilities
  • Provide individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history
  • Develop treatment plans based on each client's needs, symptoms, goals, and progress
  • Use evidence-based counseling methods such as CBT, DBT-informed skills, solution-focused therapy, or other appropriate approaches
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and required documentation in a timely manner
  • Monitor client safety and follow proper protocols for risk concerns or crisis situations
  • Coordinate with internal clinical staff when additional support or referrals are needed
  • Support clients in building coping skills, emotional regulation, communication tools, and healthier routines
  • Follow all state, ethical, and professional standards for remote counseling

Requirements
  • Active Montana LCPC license in good standing
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Experience providing individual therapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth setting
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and secure online communication tools
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality, and telehealth best practices
