Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and ongoing counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups through telehealth platforms, ensuring to address the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that outline measurable goals and interventions, regularly evaluating progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices, to effectively support clients in overcoming emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring that all records reflect the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in mental health by participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Silver Lining Counseling Center, our clientele is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and experiences. Our counselors are dedicated to fostering a safe and respectful environment, where clients can express their concerns openly. This role involves providing culturally sensitive support to clients dealing with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and life transitions.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically and effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in providing remote counseling services is preferred but not required.
• A commitment to maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality in all aspects of client care.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth technology and understanding of teletherapy best practices.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or adults with chronic mental health conditions.
• A background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

Silver Lining Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. Additional benefits include:
