• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations using evidence-based practices to identify clients' mental health needs, including creating detailed diagnostic assessments.
• Provide personalized one-on-one counseling sessions to assist clients in coping with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction by applying tailored interventions and techniques.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions such as support groups and psychoeducational workshops, addressing prevalent mental health topics in a collaborative setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, establishing clear goals and interventions that adhere to current best practices.
• Address crisis situations promptly by conducting thorough risk assessments and coordinating emergency interventions while providing immediate support to clients in distress.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, research, and practices in mental health by actively engaging in ongoing training and attending relevant workshops or webinars.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for each client.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensing as a mental health counselor in Washington State, as evidenced by passing a state-recognized exam and completing the necessary supervised clinical hours.
• A minimum of three years of supervised clinical experience, demonstrating expertise and proficiency in providing mental health counseling.
• Dedication to continuous professional development through workshops, training, and other educational opportunities to maintain licensure.
• Exceptional interpersonal and counseling skills, enabling effective communication and rapport-building with clients.
• Proven ability to conduct thorough assessments and convey treatment plans clearly and empathetically.

• Specialized certifications or training in relevant areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, or family therapy are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, providing culturally competent care tailored to individual client needs.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies to enhance client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.
