This position offers the flexibility of remote work while also focusing on school-based therapy sessions. Your days will primarily involve engaging with students, teachers, and school administrators to create a supportive network. Although your primary work location will be virtual, collaboration with our onsite team in Quincy will ensure effective care delivery and professional development opportunities.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate student needs and develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, for individual students and groups.
• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a sense of community and enhancing peer relationships among students.
• Work collaboratively with school staff, including psychologists and counselors, to ensure that all students receive integrated care.
• Respond to mental health crises with appropriate intervention strategies, ensuring the safety and support of students during emergencies.
• Inform students and families about mental health resources and treatment options available within the community.
• Maintain detailed and secure documentation of therapy sessions, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings to discuss treatment progress and share insights.
• Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in mental health therapy, actively contributing to our knowledge base.

You will primarily work with children and adolescents, focusing on their unique mental health needs within the educational setting. Your role is crucial in enabling students to cope with their challenges, facilitating their emotional and academic growth while building resilience.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
• Deep understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Proven experience with individual and group therapy, particularly within school settings or similar environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, families, and professional teams.
• Strong ethical framework and professional boundaries, honoring the sensitivity of mental health information.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth tools is preferred.
• A collaborative spirit, willing to work in a multidisciplinary team to create integrated care solutions.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling or social work is required.
• Previous experience working in school systems or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated involvement in community mental health initiatives or programs.
