Med-Take Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time position offers an annual salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This remote position allows for a flexible work schedule, empowering you to define your own hours within a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend responsibilities. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations and crisis interventions to assess the state of patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinating care for patients by determining the appropriate level of mental health services and facilitating their access to those services.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including statistical reports required by the organization, to ensure continuity of care.
• Leading group therapy sessions in various treatment settings, such as mental health observation units, while actively engaging participants and fostering a supportive atmosphere.
• Collaborating with institutional programs, including the Department of Correction, to ensure patients receive necessary housing and treatment dispositions.
• Participating in clinical supervision sessions with your Clinical Supervisor at least once a week to discuss cases and enhance your therapeutic skills.
• Attending mental health rounds and case conferences to contribute to team discussions surrounding patient treatment planning and progress.
• Potentially conducting psychological testing to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Providing guidance and supervision to social work interns or student volunteers, promoting professional development and skill acquisition.

Our patients come from varied backgrounds, including those experiencing acute psychological distress, those in correctional facilities, and individuals seeking outpatient mental health support. As a counselor, you will engage with a population that may be facing significant socio-economic challenges, highlighting the importance of culturally competent care. Your work will directly impact the lives of individuals navigating complex emotional and mental health issues, supporting them on their journey to recovery.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in community mental health settings, familiarity with crisis intervention techniques, and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.
