We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at the Correctional Behavioral Health care clinic, located in San Jose, California. This is a full-time, remote role where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals and families impacted by complex behavioral health challenges.

This position allows for remote work flexibility, enabling you to provide therapy sessions and consultations from the comfort of your home while maintaining professional productivity. You will interface primarily with clients through telehealth appointments but will also meet as needed at our outpatient office for additional support. Your weekly schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing you with work-life balance and the ability to manage personal commitments.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess mental health diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans in accordance with client needs.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of 25 to 30 clients per week, providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions that align with our therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including case managers, medical personnel, and family members—to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Document all client interactions accurately, creating clinical notes and treatment plan reviews in compliance with organizational policies.
• Utilize innovative therapeutic interventions tailored to each client, fostering an environment that encourages growth and resilience.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients to support their journey toward wellness.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance therapy techniques and approaches.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing addiction, trauma, and familial challenges. • A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Proficient understanding of family therapy services and mental health resources to aid clients effectively.
• Experience in completing Diagnostic Assessments (DAs), treatment plans, and clinical case notes is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish appropriate boundaries with clients are mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to work empathetically with a wide range of clients, showcasing familiarity and comfort with diverse populations.
• Successful candidates must pass a comprehensive background check.

• Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families who encounter complex behavioral health issues.
• Prior involvement in mental health documentation and fee collection practices will be advantageous.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
