Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify clients’ mental health needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy programs that address unique client issues, ensuring measurable progress towards their goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions grounded in evidence-based methodologies, fostering a safe environment for all participants.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate holistic care that addresses mental, emotional, and social dimensions of each client’s journey.
• Educate clients and their family members about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies to encourage involvement in the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with a variety of emotional and relational issues. You will engage with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, marital discord, and family dynamics, utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Deep empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client experiences and mental health struggles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance case loads and administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth practice would be advantageous, given the remote work nature of this position.
• Previous work with communities of varying socioeconomic backgrounds, integrating cultural competence into therapeutic practices, is a plus.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
