Job description

Overview
CoralTree Hospitality is a purpose-driven hospitality company known for delivering distinctive experiences through a diverse and growing collection of hotels, resorts, urban properties, destination assets, and residential vacation rentals. Our culture is rooted in collaboration, creativity, trust, and a shared commitment to creating meaningful connections for our guests, clients, owners, and team members.
This position will play a critical role in expanding CoralTree's reach within the B2B marketplace by building strategic relationships, generating new business, and growing revenue across two core areas: Group Meetings & Events and Transient Travel. This highly visible position is ideal for a relationship-driven sales leader who is energized by innovation, portfolio-wide collaboration, and the opportunity to represent a company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong people-first culture.
Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management & Business Development
  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic corporate, group, travel agency, leisure, and B2B accounts across CoralTree's collection.
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, travel advisors, meeting planners, third-party partners, and industry influencers.
  • Develop account strategies that increase production, expand share of wallet, and create repeat or multi-property opportunities.
  • Identify and convert new business aligned with CoralTree's portfolio, including established, new, and ramp-up properties.

Group Meetings & Events
  • Grow group meetings, events, incentives, retreats, association business, and corporate gatherings through targeted account development and market engagement.
  • Position CoralTree properties as distinctive solutions for clients seeking destination-driven, experiential, high-touch, and residential-style meeting environments.
  • Partner with property sales teams to transition qualified opportunities effectively and support conversion.

Transient Travel
  • Strengthen relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia, host agencies, corporate travel managers, and other transient travel partners.
  • Increase CoralTree awareness and production within the travel advisor, corporate transient, leisure, and experiential travel communities.
  • Support pre-opening and ramp-up properties through introductions to priority accounts, CAB members, advisors, and qualified transient demand channels.

Portfolio Sales, Ramp-Up Support & Business Development
  • Advance portfolio-wide sales initiatives that support revenue growth, market share, and CoralTree's broader commercial strategy.
  • Create clear processes and turnkey communication tools that help GSO and property teams introduce properties to CAB members, travel advisors, group intermediaries, and B2B partners.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Operations, and property leadership to align strategy, maximize opportunities, and deliver a seamless client experience.

Market Development & Industry Engagement
  • Represent CoralTree at key industry events, trade shows, sales missions, FAM trips, networking events, CAB engagements, and client-facing opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market insights to inform sales strategy and uncover new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, activity reporting, pipeline updates, and CRM discipline to support visibility and follow-through.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive hospitality sales experience, ideally within luxury, resort, destination, urban, or experiential hospitality.
  • Proven success in strategic account management, new business development, and relationship-based selling.
  • Established relationships within the meetings and events, corporate, travel agency, luxury leisure, business travel, association, incentive, and third-party sourcing communities.
  • Experience selling group meetings and events, transient travel, luxury leisure, resorts, destination experiences, residential-style accommodations, or experiential hospitality strongly preferred. Strong business acumen with a track record of generating measurable revenue, growing existing accounts, and converting new opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel regularly for client development, industry events, sales missions, and portfolio engagement.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Perks of the Journey
  • Competitive salary and professional incentive opportunity.
  • Team member free room night program for stays within the CoralTree portfolio.
  • Group medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
  • Participation in a pre-tax flexible benefit plan for healthcare and dependent care reimbursement.
  • Employee assistance program.
  • Paid time off / sick time.
  • Participation in a 401(k) plan with company match.
