Full-Service Estimator (Remote)

We're partnering with a nationally recognized property restoration company to hire a Full-Service Estimator for their centralized estimating team. With over 300 franchise locations across North America, this organization is a leader in mitigation, contents, and reconstruction services.

As a Full-Service Estimator, you'll prepare accurate, timely estimates for property damage jobs across a variety of service lines - water, fire, mold, contents, and reconstruction. You'll work remotely, collaborate with internal teams and insurance carriers, and make a direct impact on job profitability and customer outcomes.

Full-Service Estimator - Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate estimates for water mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke damage, contents cleaning, biohazard, and reconstruction projects.

  • Use platforms such as Xactimate, XactAnalysis, CMS, Claims Connect, and Validate to write, submit, and revise estimates.

  • Ensure estimates meet carrier guidelines, company standards, and SLAs for turnaround time and quality.

  • Communicate with franchise teams and insurance adjusters via email, phone, and claim systems to clarify estimate details or resolve questions.

  • Offer coaching and guidance to franchise partners to improve documentation and estimating accuracy.

  • Support estimating team during catastrophe events or high-volume seasons.

  • Train or mentor new team members as needed.

What Makes a Successful Full-Service Estimator
  • Strong knowledge of estimating best practices in the restoration or insurance industry.

  • Proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating software.

  • Clear, professional communication - both written and verbal.

  • Ability to manage multiple estimates at once with high accuracy.

  • Strong documentation and time management skills.

  • Collaborative attitude and desire to support a larger network of franchise partners.

  • Comfortable adapting to evolving industry standards, technology, and tools.

Required Qualifications
  • Full-cycle estimating experience in mitigation, contents, and reconstruction (full-service)

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of experience in estimating or other analytical/document review roles

  • 2+ years of experience in construction or restoration

  • Familiarity with Xactimate or similar tools (Symbility, CoreLogic, etc.)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and cloud-based software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience

  • Background supporting franchises or working within national brands

  • Customer service or claims-related experience

Role Details
  • Schedule: Full-time | Tuesday-Saturday | Flexible start time between 7:00 AM 9:00 AM
